...the ups and downs of an International Photojournalist / regional snapper / film maker!
the week started with on the Somerset Levels with Western Power Distribution who with the recent exceptional flooding in the region have been very busy. I was there to film and photograph the latest addition to their transport kit, the wonderfully named 'Argocat', an all terrain beast that performs wonderfully in water, mud, snow and ice. This shoot had me in and out of the water and I even got to sit along side the skipper :-)
With WPD I also got to visit the Air Ambulance Facility in Filton. It's always exciting to be up close to the Helicopters and especially great to meet the Pilot's and medical team who fly around the region on a daily basis saving Lives. WDP had kindly donated £2000 to the charity who do fantastic work and always need help. http://www.greatwesternairambulance.com/
Other PR and commercial shoots this week include restaurant openings for Pizza Express, twilight photography for Thatchers cider, Portraiture for a local film of Property agents and I even got to photograph my next door neighbour 'John' who is starting an Elvis Costello Tribute band, CDs available soon !!
